I just saw a post that said, on average the US & UK release 50 albums a week!!!! If thats true, and i was able to stay up to date with it all starting from what has dropped in 2000 till right now.. In 10 years my ears would have fallen off.   Think about it....  26,000+ albums      Now as a producer,,how will u stand out in this ever growing music business??

Its about togetherness people,, just like any other holiday.

Spend sometime with the children in your life. If thats not possible, givem a call. Matter of fact, call all those people in your life you've been meaning to contact and still haven't. Life's too short.......WORD

Its commonsense to stick around the studio for as long as possible. 

You never know whos going to show up.

Whether its a new recording artist or the V.P. from a Record Label.

Expect anyone from anywhere around the world at any time.

Also, give a good impression, 

It's possible you'll see them again... at there studio.

Something I learned is that you can spend hours behind a computer screen laying down tracks, mixing & recording. So get some rest when you can.. just wanted to throw that in here...

Life is everything you make it. If you love music and thats what you want to do, make it your duty to learn it all. Its a coldd world and not many people will help you down the line..Keep your head up and google some questions...I've already said to much.

 I can see it now........(hands wave from your left to right), "NOT FROM KANSAS ANYMORE"... in bright lights,,,,,,,,,,meaning,,,  "Living in Dreamsss"..    Yes of course being an intern is not always easy, yet you must understand that a chance in the music business is a ~privilege~.  I mop floors, wash dishes, take out the trash, all of it. "Where you need me at?",  thats what I them'em. That day, when I can say I made it, I'll look back at the internship and laugh.               You gotta start somewhere.

Some times I wonder why we do music, Some times I wonder why does music exist... With all the bullshit that I have been hearing out here in the streets or even on the radio, maybe music has really changed. Maybe this is what the crowd and audience really loves. It can't be, I mean I remember when going to a club was when you were expecting to hear different types of music. You were expected not to hear the same record that you hear a thousands times on the radio. The DJ fed you some new music to brighten your mind and give you a sense of peace. Well I hope these DJ's bang out our new sounds from some amazing artist coming out for the new quarter.......... SMACK WATER MUSIC is the label.... STAY TUNED!!!
